Typical Arbitration Results

While DKR makes no guarantees regarding the successful outcome of a stockbroker misconduct claim, statistics reflect that approximately 80% of all claims brought by investors settle in favor of the investor prior to the case proceeding to the final arbitration hearing. These settlements generally involve the investor receiving a monetary settlement. Of the approximately 20% of investor claims that proceed to final hearing, approximately 55% result in the investor receiving a monetary award from the arbitrators. For detailed statistics about the results of stockbroker misconduct claims, see the NASD’s website.
