An NASD arbitration panel ordered U.S. Bancorp to pay an investor $440,000 to compensate him for damages that he suffered as a result of U.S. Bancorp’s and its broker’s improper conduct. The investor accused U.S. Bancorp and its broker of, among other things, fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, violation of Nevada securities laws, and breach of contract related to the recommendation and sale of unregistered securities in the form of various leases in Mexican time-share hotels.
